The Global Excellence Model (GEM) Council shares knowledge, experience, and information among its members, which include Australia, Europe, India, Japan, Latin America, Singapore, and the United States. Each member has its own award program. You can find out more about the GEM Council and members’ excellence models and awards at the GEM Council Web site.
It is difficult to determine how many other countries have quality award programs. For example, China and Mexico seem to have such awards but it’s hard to find a Web site for them. Canada, on the other hand, offers the Canada Awards for Excellence.
