That’s the goal of the new Baldrige.com: To become an online gathering place for people who share a passion for improving the organizations that touch their lives. As you can see, the site already provides information you need to build the organization you want, and it’s growing every day.

Imagine how much better our world would be if all organizations—businesses, healthcare, education, nonprofits, and government agencies—embraced the Baldrige core values. We’ll build our community with the thousands of us who have served as Baldrige and state award examiners or participated in Baldrige application or assessment efforts or seen the benefits of integrating Baldrige. As our community grows, we will encourage high performance in the organizations we work for, buy and receive services from, and supply.

My name is Steve George and I’ll be posting articles about the categories you see in the menu bar above. I welcome your ideas for posts and your comments on what I’ve written. Look for guest contributors to continue to bring their knowledge to the Baldrige.com table throughout the year.

1. Participate. We invite you to read and react to our posts and pages. Contribute your comments (see our Comment Policy). Pass along ideas. Share best practices. Tell us what else you would like on the site. Sign up for our RSS feed. Make Baldrige.com your online Baldrige community.
2. Tell others about us. We need as many voices as possible to enrich our community and achieve our vision. Email our Web address to friends and associates. Invite them to check us out and, if they like what they see, to tell their friends and associates about the site. The bigger our community, the more valuable it will be for us all.
3. Provide financial support. We’re looking for advertisers and sponsors to help Baldrige.com grow into a force for driving performance excellence. Advertising and sponsorships will not only fuel Baldrige.com’s growth, they will make it possible for us to provide the site free of charge.
